We met Mom at the Euro Cafe between Boiling Springs and Lake Bowen on SC 9. They have a cafeteria style set up with some classic European food. I spoke with several of the employees who said they were from Belarus and the had many classic dishes. Meat pies, cabbage rolls, rice, noodles, they prices are very good as are the portion. The plate above was $7.95 and it was huge. If you are in the Spartanburg area give this a try!
