If it is accompanied by a sore throat, then a cup of warm (not hot) Dr. Pepper with a round orange slice floating on top.
ReplyDeleteIf I have congestion, then some spicy cajun food will clear things up for a little while.
Our Middle Eastern friends say you should drink hot tea with whole cloves so that you never get a cold. This also helps when you have a cold.
ReplyDeleteIf I have icky sinus stuff then I opt for Indian food... typically saag paneer or the veg. thali since it's all good :) The spice seems to open up my sinuses and I always feel better afterwards.
ReplyDeleteM's tea suggestion is excellent too... we're all drinking a lot clove tea right now.
